OPM Healthcare Staffing Inc.

There is a significant demand for healthcare professionals in Mississippi healthcare institutions.  The shortage of healthcare providers extends beyond physicians and includes nurse practitioners, physician assistants, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Nursing Assistants. This issue is especially prominent in senior care facilities, where the existing facilities are struggling to meet the needs of the growing senior population effectively.  This need will be exacerbated by the changing make-up of the US population.  The Population Reference Bureau projects that the number of Americans ages 65 and older will increase from 58 million in 2022 to 82 million by 2050 (a 47% increase), and the 65-and-older age group share of the total population is projected to rise from 17% to 23%.

At OPM Healthcare Staffing Inc. (OPM), our mission is to become the leading human resource solution for senior care facilities in Mississippi, with plans to extend our reach to Alabama and Georgia.  We understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to workforce management.  That’s why we offer tailored staffing solutions, with contract terms ranging from 3–12 months. Our clients can rely on us for support at every stage of their growth and for any open position that needs to be filled.

OPM’s goal is to have a team of dedicated Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Nursing Assistants who are available for staffing to assist senior care facilities facing challenges in meeting patient demand.  OPM offers full-time positions with benefits, as well as independent contractor positions, within our company to prospective healthcare professionals.
